This study aims to determine the effect of the scope of the audit and audit procedures on the preparation of audit working papers at the Regional Representative Office of the Financial Audit Agency for Southern Sumatra. This study uses a quantitative approach. The type of data used in this research is primary data. Collecting data in this study used a survey by distributing questionnaires to the auditors. The sample selection method is purposive sampling. The data analysis technique was performed using multiple regression. The results of the study show that the scope of the audit influences the preparation of audit working papers. Audit procedures affect the preparation of audit working papers.
