ANALISIS KEPATUHAN CUCI TANGAN TENAGA NON KESEHATAN DI RS ERNALDI BAHAR PROVINSI SUMATERA SELATAN
Hand washing is a very important activity carried out by hospital staff, both health workers and non-health workers. Hand washing can break the chain of transmission of infectious diseases in hospitals. This study aims to analyze factors related to handwashing compliance in non-health workers at Ernaldi Bahar Hospital. This research is a quantitative research with a cross sectional approach. The research sample was non-health workers at Ernaldi Bahar Hospital with a total sample of 98 people taken by purposive sampling. Collecting data using a questionnaire with interviews with respondents. Data were analyzed using chi-square statistical test. The results showed that 60.2% of respondents were obedient in washing their hands, 50.0% of respondents had good knowledge, 53.1% of respondents stated that the infrastructure was supportive, 38.8% of respondents had a long working period, 90.8% of respondents had a background in higher education, 51.0% of respondents have a good attitude. The results of the bivariate analysis showed that there was a relationship between knowledge, infrastructure, years of service, attitudes and handwashing compliance in non-health workers at Ernaldi Bahar Hospital (p-value
