FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN KEPEMILIKAN JAMBAN SEHAT DI KELURAHAN BUMI AGUNG KECAMATAN MUARADUA KABUPATEN OKU SELATAN
Ownership of healthy latrines in Indonesia is still relatively low, especially in Bumi Agung Village, Muaradua Subdistrict, South OKU Regency, where there are still people who do not have latrines and have bad behavior in open defecation, especially into rivers that are used for daily activities such as bathing, washing and defecating. This can cause disease and environmental pollution. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between education level, knowledge level, attitude, behavior and income level with ownership of healthy latrines in Bumi Agung Village, Muaradua Subdistrict, South OKU Regency. This type of research is quantitative analytic with Cross-Sectional study design. The population in this study were all heads of families in Bumi Agung Village, Muaradua Subdistrict, South OKU Regency. The sample size of this study amounted to 73 respondents with proportional stratified random sampling technique. Data collection was an interview using a questionnaire and observation using a checklist sheet. Univariate and bivariate data analysis using Chi-Square test. The results showed that ownership of healthy latrines that meet the requirements amounted to 38.4%. The variables of education level (p-value = 0.000), knowledge level (p-value = 0.001), attitude (p-value = 0.005), behavior (p-value = 0.000), and income level (p-value = 0.000) have a significant relationship with ownership of healthy latrines. The conclusion of the study is that all variables have a significant relationship with ownership of healthy latrines in Bumi Agung Village, Muaradua Subdistrict, South OKU Regency. The suggestion of this study is that health workers should approach and routinely conduct counseling to the community about the importance of having healthy latrines that meet the requirements.
