PENGARUH MODAL KERJA TERHADAP PROFITABILITAS BERDASARKAN SIKLUS HIDUP PERUSAHAAN PADA PERUSAHAAN SEKTOR BARANG KONSUMEN PRIMER YANG TERDAFTAR DI BURSA EFEK INDINESIA
This study aims to examine the effect of working capital on profitability based on the corporate's life cycle in non-cylical consumers sector corporates listed on the IDX. The working capital components used are cash turnover, accounts receivable turnover, inventory turnover, and cash conversion cycle. Profitability is measured using return on assets or ROA. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The sample used in this study was 59 companies. The results obtained 1) cash turnover has a significant effect on profitability at the growth, mature, and decline stages, 2) accounts receivable turnover has a significant effect on profitability at the mature stage, but accounts receivable turnover does not have a significant effect on profitability at the growth and decline stages, 3) inventory turnover has a significant effect on profitability at the mature stage, but inventory turnover does not have a significant effect on profitability at the growth and decline stages. 4) the cash conversion cycle has a significant effect on profitability at the growth and mature stages, but the cash conversion cycle has no significant effect on profitability at the decline stage.
