ANALISIS EROSI LAHAN PADA DAS WAY UMPU WAY KANAN - LAMPUNG
Way Umpu Sub watershed is one of sub watershed from Tulang Bawang watershed in Way Kanan regency, Lampung. Its has area of 784,71 km2 and has a length of 134,94 km and flows from Banjit district to Bahuga district. This land dominated by forest makes Way Umpu sub watershed used by the community for settlement, farming, agriculture and other land uses. But in practice, poor management cause the soil in Way Umpu sub watershed eroding every year. Therefore, analysis of erosion in Way Umpu sub watershed is necessary considering the magnitude of the role of sub watershed to society. The objective of this research was to determined the amount of erosion in Way Umpu sub watershed using USLE method as well as to determined erosion hazard level especially in 2011 - 2015. The data used in this research was secondary data such as monthly rainfall data to calculate the index erosivitas rain (R) and map data in the form of Esri Shape (shp) as an index value of the factors that cause more erosion. Map data consist of type of soil map to determine soil erodibility index (K), slope maps to find the value of the length and slope (LS), as well as land use maps to determine the value of land cover (CP). These maps processed used Software Map Info Profesional, the output of this Software was map and table of content from factors that cause erosion. Based on calculation of rainfall data, erosivity index obtained. As well as erodibility land index (K) was 0,2275, lenght factor dan slope (LS) was 1,86 and 0,151 was the value of land cover (CP). These factors calculated used USLE with the average yield for 5 years result 110,353 ton/ha/year. This value shows erosion in 2011-2015 at Way Umpu sub watershed categorized to class III between 60 to 180 ton/ha/year.
