ABSTRACT Risky sexual behavior is one of the transmissions of HIV/AIDS infection to the highrisk male population, who are generally men who have the potential to become customers of sex workers, namely those who move from one place to another in a relatively long period of time due to occupations such as ship crew. The results of the 2019 integrated biological and behavioral survey (IBBS) found that the proportion of HIV events in the customer group was 1.1%. This study with a crosssectional design aims to analyze the determinants of risky sexual behavior among ship crew. The sampling technique for this study used the time location sampling (TLS) technique for the crew members in the work area of Port Health Office Class II Palembang, namely Boom Baru Port and Tanjung Api-Api Port. Time-location sampling (TLS) is a method that has been widely used to take samples from populations that are "floating" (less likely to be found by enumerators in a fixed place). The results of the Chi-square test analysis showed that there was a significant relationship between age, marital status, availability of access to sexual transactions, and co-workers' support for shipmen's risky sexual behavior. The results of multivariate analysis with multiple logistic regression tests showed that co-worker support was the most dominant or influential variable for risky sexual behavior of crew ship in the Palembang Class II KKP work area (adjusted PR: 6.794: 95% CI PR: 2.375-19.428), which means that ABK who has negative coworker support has the opportunity to engage in risky sexual behavior by 6.794 times compared to ABK who has positive coworker support.
