Jcint Operation is the cooperation between the two companies or more over a particular period and aims to complete a projecl. In the construction seetor, joint operation is a strategic step since it has a variety of benefits, such as incrcasing the ability to compete, by using the power of several companies as well opportunities for compctitors to be partner position, with the result that reduced the number of competitors. Therefore, joint operation is often used as one altemative, especially for contractors in competing in the market of construction Services. In the automotive repair shops construction projcct SMK Negeri 2 Palembang, a joint operation is carried out by three contractors, PT Waskita Karya, PT Menumbing Jaya and PT Detail RancangBangun. needs to be analyzcd about the type anu model of joint operation selected and joint operation to project succcss. The stages of the research were conducted frorn literature studies, collecting the primary and secondary data, proccssing the data by using ratting scale method, and analyzing the data by using validitv and reliability. as merease Based on the analyzing, joint operation which was implemented by the contractor was joint operation integrated manajement tvpe with two-level organizatioaal inodels. Meamvhile, the results of the studv to measure the pcrtormancc of joint operation contractor on tliis project showed that using the method of ratting scale met the very well eriteria which can be evidenced by analysis of validity and reliabilitv. Wherein, the results of questionnaires cn the contractor level and the level of worker was valid with the value of aboveaverage validitas r = 0.3 and exprcssed real, with reliability values above 0.6. By using good joint operation impicmentation of developmcnt projects of automotive repair shops SMK Negen 2 Palembang can be done well.
