PENGARUH PERSENTASE TUTUPAN ATAP BANGUNAN DAN INTENSITAS HUJAN TERHADAP KOEFISIEN ALIRAN PERMUKAAN (C)
Changes in land use from non awakened into settlements and others may cause a reduction in the land's ability to absorb rain water into the soil and increased runoff that will increase the value of the coefficient of runoff. Runoff coefficient is the ratio between the amount of runoff to the rainfall. In this study, using the cover roof of the building in the form of asbestos that are arranged to resemble the building and use the basic material in the form of sand. This study aimed to analyze the influence of the percentage of the building's roof cover and rain intensity on the surface flow coefficient (C). Methodology of this experiment is modeling in the laboratory using a rainfall simulator with covering the roof of the building in the form of asbestos, a percentage of 0%, 8.8%, 17.6%, 26.4%, 35.2%, 44%, 52 , 8%, 61.6%, 70.4%, 79.2% and 88%, the slope factor of 0% and 2%, and the rainfall intensity factor of 30 mph,40 mph and 50 mph. Results from this study is the influence of the percentage of the building's roof cover, rainfall intensity and slope of the surface flow coefficient (C). The greater the percentage of cover roofs, rain intensity and slope of the land, the greater the amount of runoff that occurs so that the surface runoff coefficient is also getting bigger.
