Moment Resisting Frame System (also called SRPM) in buildings functioned to hold the entire load of the structure, including earthquake loads. SRPM using component structural beams, columns, and joints in resisting forces acting through the mechanism of bending, shear, and axial. Beam-column connections are the most important structural element in the SRPM. The forces acting on the beam column system will cause large shear forces at beam-column relationship. For buildings with wide spans can be used with the double beam structure. The double beam consists of two parallel beams and added head sliding on the area around the column. The purpose of this study was to determine and compare the value of the building and the lateral deviation between the beam deflection system that uses a double beam structure and the regular skeletal system. Model building that became the object of research is a multi-storey building with spans wide and has 8 floors with each floor of the same height, so that they can be said of the building structure is irregular. Model of building consists of 3 models, that model A is the usual truss system with a beam as the beam interior, model B is a system that uses a double beam on a beam interior with double beam to column distance of 0.75 m, the model C is a system that uses double beam on a beam interior with double spacing beam to column 1 m. Weight of structure each floor planned same. The results of the analysis of this structure, including; the use of double beam as interior beams can increase the value was greater lateral deviation 110.07% compared to a regular frame structure, with maximum value of story drift contained in the model B amounted to 10.330 mm. The double beam structure can also increase the high beam deflection clean the floor with a slightly larger. The maximum beam deflection in the structure of the larger double beam 0.3 mm to 1.7 mm compared to a regular frame structure, with a maximum deflection on the model B of 7.9 mm.
