PD APEI South Sumatra is a company engaged in electricity services. In PD APEI South Sumatra, the payroll process carried out in the company is still carried out manually using payslips in the form of receipts and reports submitted to company owners only through communication without the form of physical reports, causing company owners to be less in receiving financial expenditure information in the company. The purpose of this study is to design a payroll accounting information system based on Microsoft Visual Foxpro 9.0. This study uses primary data sources. The method used in this study is the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) system development technique Waterfall model. Software or Tools used is MySQL as a database. The results of the research with the design of a computerized accounting information system are expected to make it easier for financial managers to make salary slips given by employees and also employee payroll reports that will be submitted to the chairman of PD APEI South Sumatra to be more effective and efficient.
