PERBANDINGAN JENIS DAN KELIMPAHAN ZOOPLANKTON DI BEBERAPA PERAIRAN PESISIR BANYUASIN, SUMATERA SELATAN PADA MUSIM BARAT
The waters of Sembilang National Park (Barong River), Banyuasin River Estuary, and Musi River estuary are waters around Banyuasin coastal waters with semi-closed physical characteristics and filled with aquatic activities. This study aims to analyze the comparison of species, abundance and biodiversity between stations, and the influence of the environment around the coastal waters of Banyuasin on zooplankton in the western season. The study was conducted in January 2023, sampling and measurement of parameters began from the Barong River and ended at the mouth of the Musi River. Zooplankton samples were analyzed for the relationship of parameters to abundance and biodiversity using the Principal Component Analysis (PCA) method. The composition of the most zooplankton in coastal waters of Banyuasin is 58 species. Zooplankton abundance ranges from 85.129-228.562 ind/m3. The highest diversity tends to be moderate, the uniformity of categories is medium to high, and the dominance tends to be low. The results of PCA analysis have a relationship with the abundance, biodiversity, and parameters (pH, salinity, brightness, temperature, DO, phosphate, and nitrate) to substations 1A, 2A, 3A, 3a, 4a, 5a, 1B, 2B, 4b, 5c, 2C, 3c, 4c, 5c in the distribution of zooplankton in the waters.
