TUTUPAN TERUMBU KARANG TIPE ACROPORA DAN NON-ACROPORA SERTA HUBUNGANNYA DENGAN KELIMPAHAN IKAN KARANG DI PERAIRAN PULAU KELAPA DUA, KEPULAUAN SERIBU
Coral reef ecosystems provide a variety of habitats for marine biota such as coral reef fish, thus making them one of the most diverse marine ecosystems. This study aims to analyze the condition of coral reefs (percentage cover), coral reef fish abundance, and the relationship between Acropora and non-Acropora coral types and the abundance of coral reef fish in Kelapa Dua water, Seribu Island. Station points are determined by purposive sampling method. Coral data was obtained using the UPT method (Underwater Photo Transect), and the abundance of coral reef fish was obtained using UVC (Underwater Visual Census) and Belt Transect method. Coral cover analysis used CPCe software, and the relationship between Acropora and non-Acropora coral cover was analyzed using PCA (Principal Component Analysis). The percentage of live coral cover at the study sites ranged from 4.07 – 51.57%, where the condition of the coral reefs was categorized as damaged to good. The abundance of reef fish ranged from 3360 – 32040 ind/Ha. The percentage of Acropora coral cover ranged from 0.07 – 7.61%, while the percentage of non-Acropora coral cover ranged from 4.00 – 38.29%. The percentage of Acropora and non-Acropora coral cover positively correlated with the abundance of major reef fish groups, targets and indicators.
