DESAIN NEUTRONIK TERAS SODIUM-COOLED FAST REACTOR (SFR) DENGAN BAHAN BAKAR URANIUM METALIK BERDAYA 1000 MWTH BERBASIS OPENMC
SFR is a type of closed-fuel fast reactor that uses sodium or sodium as a coolant. Neutronic analysis of the geometry design of the Sodium-cooled Fast Reactor (SFR) core with 1000 MWTh Metallic Uranium fuel has been carried out so that the core design meets the criteria for neutronic parameters. The simulation was carried out using OpenMC software which has ENDF/B VIII.0 nuclear data library. The calculation of the neutronic parameters were carried out for Uranium enrichment level ranging from 0% to 7% with a depletion time of 328.5 days. The value of the effective multiplication factor (keff) can reach a critical condition in BOC and EOC conditions when it is given an enrichment of 6% to 7% with a CR
