PERBANDINGAN METODE SINGLE LINKAGE, COMPLETE LINKAGE, AVERAGE LINKAGE DAN WARD'S PADA PENGELOMPOKAN PROVINSI DI INDONESIA BERDASARKAN SARANA KESEHATAN TAHUN 2021
Cluster analysis is a method used to group objects based on similarities in their characteristics. Cluster analysis using the hierarchy method is a method with a gradual or multilevel grouping process. This study aims to group provinces in Indonesia that have health facilities in 2021 using the Single Linkage, Complete Linkage, Average Linkage and Ward's methods and explain the comparison of the results obtained using the standard deviation ratio value. The final results show that in the Single Linkage method, Average Linkage and Ward's have the same number of cluster memberships, namely forming the 2 best clusters, namely the first cluster of 31 provinces and the second cluster of 3 provinces including West Java, Central Java and East Java. As for the Complete Linkage method, it forms 2 clusters, namely the first cluster of 30 provinces and the second cluster of 4 provinces including North Sumatra, West Java, Central Java and East Java. In the comparison of standard deviation values, the smallest value is owned by the Single Linkage, Average Linkage and Ward's methods where the three methods have the samestandard deviation ratio value. Means that the Single Linkage, Average Linkage and Ward's methods are better when compared to the Complete Linkage method.
