Ecosystem-based capture fisheries management based on social and economic aspects of the Ecosystem Approach to Fisheries Management (EAFM) as a balance between fisheries management for the welfare of fishermen. There is stilla lack of participation by fishing communities regarding the importance of economic development and existing social conflicts. Until now the government's attention to social and economic development has begun to take shape. The purpose of this study was to assess and examine indicators in the social and economic domains based on EAFM. The research was carried out in November 2022 in three study areas, namely in Sungsang IV, Sembilang Hamlet, and Terusan Dalam Hamlet, Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra. Methods of data collection using primary data (questionnaires and interviews) and secondary data (related stakeholders). Samples were taken using purposive sampling method with the slovin formula. Data analysis on each indicator in the socio￾economic domain uses an ordial-based Likert score (1,2,3). The average score of the indicators is 2. Ecosystem-based capture fisheries management in the Sembilang National Park and its surroundings in the social domain is classified as good with an aggregate value of 67.84 and also in the economic domain with an aggregate value of 75.70. The average regional aggregate value from the socio-economic domain is 71.78 sothat it is included in the good category.
