IDENTIFIKASI TINGKAT KEPARAHAN KEBAKARAN HUTAN DAN LAHAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE NORMALIZE BURN RATIO (NBR) DAN DIFFERENCE NORMALIZE BURN RATIO (DNBR) DENGAN CITRA LANDSAT 8 (Studi Kasus : KHG Sungai Sugihan – Sungai Saleh, Sumatera Selatan) TAHUN 2019
Based on the 2020 KLHK Statistical Report, forest and land fires in 2019 in Indonesia reached 1,649,258 ha. South Sumatra Province is the province with the highest number of fire areas, reaching 336,798 ha, of which 136,785 ha is peatland. One of the KHGs affected by the karhutla that occurred in South Sumatra was the KHGSS in Banyuasin Regency and Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. Forest and land fires that occurred in the range from August to October 2019 damaged land in KHGSS with an area of around 53,000 ha. The purpose of this study was to identify the severity of the 2019 KHGSS fires using the NBR and dNBR methods. The data used in this study are landsat 8 data, MODIS sensor hotspots, and KHGSS administrative maps. There are 7 classifications of severity, namely high vegetation growth, low vegetation growth, no burning, low fire, medium-low fire, medium-high fire, and high fire. The results of data processing resulted in a total burned area of 63,261.25 Ha. Sampling data of 50 samples in this study came from hotspots which had a 95% confidence level. The results of the accuracy test analysis of this study have a value of 98%.
