KELIMPAHAN DAN STRUKTUR KOMUNITAS PLANKTON SERTA KAITANNYA DENGAN PARAMETER PERAIRAN DI SEMENANJUNG TAMAN NASIONAL SEMBILANG KABUPATEN BANYUASIN SUMATERA SELATAN
Plankton is an aquatic organization that can be used as a bioindicator in the environment. Plankton plays an important role in the cycle of the aquatic food chain. This study aims to identify the types of plankton and analyze the abundance, structure of the plankton community and the influence of environmental parameters on the abundance and structure of the plankton community. This study was conducted in December 2022 with 8 measurement points. Samples obtained include samples of plankton (phytoplankton and zooplankton), water samples and measurements of Physico-Chemical parameters of the environment. Data analysis includes impact, community structure and PCA analysis. Based on the results found as many as 4 class of phytoplankton with an area ranging from 14-5.427 ind / l and 10 class zooplankton with an area ranging from 5-522 ind / l. The distribution of phytoplankton and zooplankton shows high Area values in the waters of river estuaries. The relationship between the physico-chemical parameters of the environment and plankton diversity is most closely related to biodiversity, salinity, DO, and current velocity. The results of this study indicate that the environmental conditions of the Sembilan National Park Peninsula are in good condition for the growth of phytoplankton and zooplankton.
