PENERAPAN ANALISIS FAKTOR DALAM MEREDUKSI INDIKATOR VARIABEL EVALUASI LAYANAN PEMBELAJARAN DI JURUSAN MATEMATIKA FAKULTAS MATEMATIKA DAN ILMU PENGETAHUAN ALAM UNIVERSITAS SRIWIJAYA
Evaluation of learning services in Higher Education is an activity that needs to be carried out periodically, adapted to the internal conditions of Higher Education. This study aims to reduce variable indicators and determine the factors considered in determining service variable indicators. The research method used is exploratory factor analysis. The data analyzed is the response from a questionnaire evaluating learning services in the Mathematics Department, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Sriwijaya University, for the 2021/2022 academic year. The learning service evaluation questionnaire consists of 40 variable indicators. The reduction results from the learning service evaluation questionnaire based on the criteria for an eigenvalue greater than one and a loading factor value greater than or equal to 0.7 indicate that as many as 12 variable indicators were reduced from the initial 40 variable indicators so that the learning service evaluation questionnaire contained 28 variable indicators. The 28 variable indicators characterize two competency factors, namely professional competence and pedagogical competence. These two factors can explain the diversity of the original variables with a cumulative percentage of variance of 71.252%.
