EVALUASI FORMASI RESERVOIR TALANG AKAR BERDASARKAN PARAMETER PETROFISIKA AREA INTERFIELD LAPANGAN DR DAN LAPANGAN DF SOUTHWEST, CEKUNGAN SUMATERA SELATAN
Field X is an interfield field area between the DR and DF fields, South Sumatra Basin, Indonesia. Production data from the wells show very good initial Qoi in the wells in both fields. The deterministic petrophysics method approach was carried out in an effort to evaluate the reservoir characteristics of the Talang Akar sandstones in field X. Data from 6 wells representing both DF and DR fields were used in this evaluation. The data used are well log data, header data, mudlog data, trajectory data, and perforation data. The data is processed to obtain the value of clay content, water saturation, porosity and permeability of the Field X sandstone reservoir. Based on calculations and petrophysical analysis of the Talang Akar sandstone reservoir DR Field (DR-1; DR-2; DR-3) and DF Field (DF- 1; DF-2; DF-3) has an average porosity value in the range of 9-15% including the moderate category, shale content values in the range of 0.1-1.5%, water saturation values in the range of 20-50% and permeability values in the range 9-16mD. The results of these calculations can confirm that the distribution of sandstone reservoirs in the interfield area has good characteristics. This study will describe formation evaluation methods in areas that do not have well data to help predict reservoir characteristics for proposing a step out drilling at closure in the interfield area.
