The coast as a reachable area will be the target of the development of human activities. Pesisir Tengah District in Pesisir Barat Regency, Lampung Province is one area that has the potential for tourism, fisheries and port developments. But the area is categorized as a vulnerable area for natural disasters, so it is necessary to study it, to evaluate its vulnerability level. The purpose of this study is to assess the condition of physical parameters and analyze the level of coastal vulnerability using the Coastal Vulnerability Index (CVI) method. The results showed that, the calculation of the vulnerability index value in Pesisir Tengah Regency shows that the parameters that have the highest to lowest scores are significant wave height, geomorphology, shoreline changes, coastal slope and tides. The coastal vulnerability index value in Pesisir Tengah district ranges from 2.83 to 12.25, which is in the low, medium and high vulnerability levels. The dominant level of coastal vulnerability in Pesisir Tengah district is the medium level of vulnerability. This was found at 6 study stations.
