HUBUNGAN REMITANSI DAN PENGANGGURAN TERHADAP KEMISKINAN: KOMPARASI INDONESIA DAN THAILAND.
This study aims to analyze the effect of remittances and population growth on poverty, as well as to analyze causality between unemployment and poverty in Indonesia and Thailand for 2006 to 2020. The analytical technique used are Ordinary Least Square (OLS) and Granger Causality. The results show that remittances have a positive effect on poverty in Indonesia, while in Thailand remittances have a negative effect on poverty. Population growth has a positive effect on poverty in Indonesia and Thailand. Then for the results of the Granger Causality analysis it was found that in Indonesia unemployment does not affect poverty, but poverty affects unemployment. Meanwhile in Thailand unemployment does not affect poverty and poverty does not affect unemployment.
