KAUSALITAS ANTARA KETIMPANGAN DISTRIBUSI PENDAPATAN, PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI DAN PEMBANGUNAN MANUSIA DI INDONESIA
This study aims to analyze the causality between income distribution inequality, economic growth and human development in Indonesia. The data to be used in this research is secondary data which is a time series from 2001-2020 which will be obtained from the World Bank and the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS). The analysis model used is the Granger Causality Test analysis. The variables that will be used in this study are the Gini Index, Indonesia's Gross Domestic Product at constant prices and Indonesia's HDI. The results of this study indicate that (1) there is no causality or one-way relationship between economic growth and inequality in income distribution in Indonesia. (2) There is no causality or one-way relationship between the human development index and inequality in income distribution in Indonesia. (3) There is a one-way relationship between the human development index and economic growth, but there is no causal relationship between economic growth and the human development index in Indonesia.
