ANALISIS PERUBAHAN TUTUPAN VEGETASI LAHAN GAMBUT DENGAN METODE ISO CLUSTER UNSUPERVISED CLASSIFICATION MENGGUNAKAN TEKNOLOGI PENDINDRAAN JAUH (Studi Kasus : KHG Sungai Sugihan – Sungai Saleh, Sumatera Selatan)
This study aims to analyze the condition of peatland cover in KHG Sungai Sugihan - Sungai Saleh after a fire occurred in 2015. This research was carried out by making peatland cover maps before and after land fires and after restoration. Land cover mapping was carried out using the Iso Cluster Unsupervised Classification method. In addition, vegetation index and moisture index maps are made by calculating NDVI and NDMI to analyze the condition of vegetation and soil moisture. As well as a rainfall map made to see the effect of rainfall on the health of vegetation and soil moisture. Then use hotspot point validation. To provide an overview of locations experiencing forest and land fires. The results of this study are maps of changes in land cover classification with an accuracy test result of reaching 90%. There was a pattern of land cover change with an increase in open land in 2016 land cover. The influence of changes in peatland vegetation cover in the Sugihan-Saleh KHG area was rainfall, low rainfall resulted in land becoming dry and prone to fire. High rainfall affects changes in peat land cover and conditions of vegetation density and soil moisture. With the validation of the 2015 hotspots in a number of areas that experienced a decrease in land cover, it was indicated that land fires had occurred due to land conditions and human actions.
