ANALISIS VARIABILITAS SUHU PERMUKAAN LAUT DAN PENGARUHNYA TERHADAP PRODUKSI HASIL TANGKAPAN IKAN KEMBUNG (RASTRELlIGER SPP) DI PPN KARANGANTU PROVINSI BANTEN
Mackerel (Rastrelliger spp) is one of the dominant catches in PPN Karangantu and is an economically important fish for the people of Indonesia. One of the parameters that affect fish catch is temperature. This research was conducted by collecting secondary data on SST and mackerel catches in a 3 year range, namely 2019 – 2021 and then analyzed using regression analysis method. The SST data at the Karangantu PPN mackerel fishing location was taken from https://oceancolor.gsfc.nasa.gov/ and the data on the Karangantu PPN mackerel catches were taken directly from the Karangantu PPN office. The results showed that the average SST ranged from 29.16 – 30,85 °C and the average mackerel catch ranged from 7,888 - 13,343 kg. The value of R = -0.51 means that there is an inverse relation between mackerel catches and temperature, where if the temperature increases, there will be a decrease in mackerel catches and vice versa. But the value is still in the weak category.
