PENGARUH INVESTMENT (FDI), UPAH MINIMUM, DAN PENDIDIKAN TERHADAP PENGANGGURAN DI PULAU JAWA TAHUN 2016-2021.
This study aims to analyze the effect of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), minimum wages, and education on unemployment in Java. This study uses time series data from 2016 to 2021 and cross section data in six provinces on Java Island using the panel data regression method. Based on the results of the Chow test, Hausman test and Lagrange Multiplier test, the model used in this study is Random Effect Model (REM). Results showed that FDI has a positive and insignificant effect on the open unemployment rate, the provincial minimum wage has a positive and significant effect on the open unemployment rate, and the average years of schooling has a negative but insignificant effect on the open unemployment rate.
