The study aims to explain the strength of proof a deed containing false statements made before a notary. In making an authentic deed, a notary must comply with the provisions and what the appearers expext in connection with an authentic deed drawn up before a notary. The approaches used in this study are historical, legislative, and case approaches. The results confirm that a notarial deed has perfectly proving the value that anyone who is bound by the deed as long as it contains a legal defect or contains false information then the daad isconsidered null and void and is privately made. The responsibility of perpetrator who is proven to have provided false information about the deed drawn up by a notary based on the consideration of the judge is sentenced to a penalty. To minimize false statements, the Notary must carry out the precautionary principle by indentifying the appearer, carefully verifying the data of the subject and object of the appearer, giving a grace period in working on the deed, acting carefully and thoroughly in making the deed, fulfilling all technical requirements for making deeds and reporting if there are indications of money laundering.
