DISPARITAS KEUANGAN DAERAH DI PULAU JAWA DAN SUMATERA
This study aims to determine the degree of regional financial disparities in Java and Sumatra, and analyze the effect of the employment and the block grant on regional financial disparities in Java and Sumatra. The secondary data used in this study is time series data from 2010 to 2021, obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The methods in this study used the calculation of the Williamson Index and multiple linear regression (Ordinary Least Square). The results of the Williamson Index calculation showed that regional financial disparities in Java were still high, although Sumatra showed moderate disparities. Meanwhile the results of multiple linear regression in Java and the employment variable revealed a significantly negative effect, in addition the block grant variable has no effect on regional financial disparities. As a results of multiple linear regression in Sumatra, the variable identified as the employment variable has no effect, moreover the block grant variable also showed a significantly negative effect on regional financial disparities
