This study aims to analyze provinces that are fast-developing and fast-growing regions, analyze the strength of interaction between provinces, and analyze the pattern of distribution (mapping) of growth centers in Java Island in 2015-2020. The analysis technique used is scalogram, centrality index, gravity model, and LISA (Local Indicator of Spatial Association). The results of this study indicate that the results of the analysis of the scalogram and centrality index produce four regional hierarchies based on the availability of facilities in the provinces on the island of Java. DKI Jakarta Province occupies hierarchy I which is the center of economic growth On Java Island. Hierarchy II, namely the Provinces of Central Java and East Java, Hierarchy III, namely the Provinces of DI Yogyakarta and West Java, and Hierarchy IV, namely the Province of Banten. Based on the results of the gravity model, DKI Jakarta Province is the center of growth and Central Java Province is the center of new growth in Java Island. The strongest interaction with the Province of DKI Jakarta, namely West Java Province which is ranked I, while the strongest interaction with the Province of Central Java, namely the Provinces of East Java, DI Yogyakarta, and West Java which are ranked I. economy, namely DKI Jakarta Province is in the High-Low quadrant, Banten and West Java Provinces are in the Low-High quadrant, while other provinces are included in areas that are not significant or have no spatial linkages to economic growth, namely Central Java, Yogyakarta, and East Java Provinces.
