PENGARUH VARIASI RASIO FLY ASH TERHADAP ALKALI AKTIVATOR DAN LAMA WAKTU CURING TERHADAP SIFAT MEKANIK MORTAR GEOPOLYMER FLY ASH
The development of sustainable construction has been the subject of research recently. due to the significant range of carbon dioxide emissions involved in the production of regular Portland cement. Therefore, in order to support sustainable material, another material must be found. A different approach is to use an alternative material, such as fly ash, in place of the cement. Alkaline activator in the form of sodium silicate (Na2SiO3) sodium hydroxide (NaOH). This study's goal is to examine how alkaline activator ratio, fly ash to alkaline ratio and oven curing duration affects geopolymer mortar. fly ash to alkaline ratio variation are 1.75, 2, 2.25, 2.5, 2.75. alkaline activator ratio are 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4, 4.5. and oven curing duration 24, 48, 72 hours. All the mixture is using sodium hydroxide (NaOH) with molarity 9 M. The cube-shaped specimen 50 x 50 x 50 mm is cured by oven curing with a temperature of 80°C for 48 hours. The experimental results of the compressive strength are showed that the fly ash to alkaline variation highest results is from ratio 2 with 55,8 MPa and the lowest is 1,75 with 43,6 MPa. The alkaline activator variation highest results is from ratio 3,5 with 68 MPa and the lowest is 4,5 with 19,4 MPa. And the oven curing duration highest results is from 48 hour with 51,6 MPa and the lowest is 72 HOUR with 47,2 MPa.
