PENGARUH DIMENSI DALAM PEMBUATAN AGREGAT BERBAHAN DASARFLY ASH DENGAN TEKNIK PEMANASAN
This study aims to analyze the influence of dimensions in the manufacture of artificial aggregates made from fly ash using heating techniques. This aggregate is made by combining several other materials through physical and mechanical processes similar to natural aggregates. In this study the materials used for the manufacture of aggregates are fly ash, clay and water. The method used is the heating method which is carried out on 2 specimens with height dimensions of 5 cm and 15 cm at a heating temperature of 1028°C. Comparison of dimensions in the manufacture of artificial aggregates greatly affects the test results, where the smaller the height dimensions of the fly ash and clay mixture for the mechanical test results do not meet the desired aggregate criteria, but the physical properties test results in the form of specific gravity have reached the criteria as light aggregate. The results showed that the 5 cm cylinder specimen with the code F60-Cl40-Ca0-R1-S-5cm had a compressive strength of 7.76 MPa, 38% impact strength, a density value of 1127.71 Kg/m3, and a porosity value. of 43%.
