PERBANDINGAN METODE KONDUKTOMETRI DAN SPEKTROFOTOMETRI UV-VIS TERHADAP ANALISIS ION LOGAM SENG (II) PADA AIR SUMUR BOR MUARA DUA
Contamination of bored well water has a serious impact on the environment and human health. Zinc (II) metal is one of the heavy metals that can contaminate bored well water. Zinc (II) metal ions can be analyzed using conductometric and UV-Vis spectrophotometric methods. This study aims to compare the conductometric method and the UV-Vis spectrophotometric method to the analysis of zinc metal (II) ions in the Muara Dua Prabumulih Timur bored well water and to conduct a t-test for both methods using the SPSS application. The results of the research on the conductometric method obtained the calibration curve equation y = 0.0597x + 0.0025 with an R2 value of 0.997, a sensitivity of 0.0597 mg/L, LoD 0.05486 mg/L, LoQ 0.63801 mg/L, precision 0.04101 %, accuracy of 87.3 %, and measurement uncertainty of 0.0132 ± 0.0264 mg/L. The UV-Vis spectrophotometric method obtained the calibration curve equation y = 0.103x + 0.002 with an R2 value of 0.997, a sensitivity of 0.103 mg/L, LoD 0.04119 mg/L, LoQ 0.80153 mg/L, precision 0.05101 %, accuracy 86.4 %, and a measurement uncertainty of 0.0406 ± 0.0812 mg/L. The results of zinc (II) metal content in the bored well water samples using the conductometric and UV-Vis spectrophotometric methods were 1.285 mg/L and 1.284 mg/L, respectively. The t-test of both methods yielded a Tcount of 1.24 and a Ttable of 2.78 with a 95% confidence level. It can be concluded that the conductometric and UV-Vis spectrophotometric methods did not differ significantly in analyzing zinc metal (II) ions.
