PENGARUH PRIVASI DAN KEAMANAN TERHADAP KEPUTUSAN PEMBELIAN ONLINE MENGGUNAKAN APLIKASI SHOPEE (STUDI KASUS PADA MAHASISWA UNIVERSITAS SRIWIJAYA KAMPUS PALEMBANG).
This study aims to determine the influence of privacy and security in purchasing decisions using Shopee app. The research method used is a quantitative method. The data used in this research are primary data and secondary data. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling. The samples examined in this study were 100 respondents who were active students of Sriwijaya University, Palembang. Based on the statistical t test performed, it can be concluded that the privacy variable has no significant effect on online purchasing decisions which is indicated by a significant value of 0,64 > alpha 0,05. Based on the statistical t test performed, it can be concluded that the security variable has a positive and significant effect on online purchasing decisions which is indicated by a significance value of 0,002 < alpha 0,05. Based on the simultaneous f test obtained a significance value of 0,000 < 0,005, it can be concluded that privacy and security significantly influence the online purchasing decisions. The magnitude of the influence independent variable on the dependent variable is 23,2%, the remaining 76,8% is influenced by other variables not included in the research model.
