PENGARUH PEMBERIAN FRAKSI ETANOL DAUN UBI JALAR UNGU TERHADAP ALIRAN DAN PARAMETER KOAGULASI DARAH TIKUS YANG DIINDUKSI SUPLEMEN TINGGI LEMAK
Purple sweet potato leaves contain alkaloids, flavonoids, quinones, steroids, monoterpenes, sesquiterpenes, polyphenolics and tannins which are anti-atherosclerotic. This study aims to determine the effect of giving the ethanol fraction of purple sweet potato leaves on rat blood flow and coagulation factors and its effect on the histopathological picture of the rat aorta induced by high-fat supplements. This study was divided into six groups: normal, positive control (2.25 mg/KgBW captopril), negative control (0.5% NaCMC), and 3 treatment groups (doses of 50 mg/KgBW, 100 mg/KgBW and 200 mg/KgBW). Parameters measured were bleeding time, coagulation time, amount of bleeding, APTT, PT and fibrinogen. Based on the results of the study that the average increase in bleeding time after treatment at a dose of 50 mg/kgBW was 185.5±2.5, at the time of coagulation the result was 315±1.5, the result for the amount of bleeding was 73±2, the dose was 100 mg/kgBW at the time of bleeding was obtained at 298.5 ± 1, at the time of coagulation the results were obtained at 352.5 ± 2.5, the results at the amount of bleeding were 78 ± 1, the dose of 200 mg/kgBW at the time of bleeding was obtained at 301 ± 1, at the time of coagulation the results were obtained at 362.5 ± 2.5, the results on the amount of bleeding of 86.5 ± 1. APTT measurement results at a dose of 50 mg/kgBW were 31.1±2.1 results at PT time of 94.4±0.2 results at a fibrinogen value of 2.99±0.5, a dose of 100 mg/kgBW of 26±1 results at PT time of 9.5±0.2, results at a value fibrinogen 2.72 ± 0.1, a dose of 200 mg/kg BW of 23.3 ± 2.7 results at PT time of 9.3 ± 0.1 results on fibrinogen values of 3.31 ± 0.5. Based on the results of the research, the most effective dose for all treatment groups in this test was a dose of 200 mg/kg BW. Aortic histopathology showed that the dose fraction of 200 mg/kgBW did not differ from the normal control group and the positive control group, namely the absence of fat. This shows that the ethanol fraction of purple sweet potato leaves has anti-atherosclerotic activity
