UJI AKTIVITAS ANTIHIPERLIPIDEMIA FRAKSI N-HEKSANA DAUN UBI JALAR UNGU ( Ipomoea batatas (L.) Lam.) TERHADAP TIKUS PUTIH JANTAN YANG DIINDUKSI SUPLEMEN TINGGI LEMAK
Purple sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas (L.) Lam.) leaf contain beta carotene compounds which have antihyperlipidemia activity. This study aims to determine the antihyperlipidemia effect of n-hexane fraction of purple sweet potato leaves on total cholesterol, triglyceride, HDL and LDL levels in rat serum induced by PTU and high fat supplements. This study divided into 6 groups, normal group, positive group (Fenofibrate dose 19,76 mg/kgBB) , negative group (0.5% NaCMC), group 1 (50 mg/kgBB), group 2 (100 mg/kgBB), and group 3 (200 mg/kgBB). Parameters measured in the form of total cholesterol levels, triglycerides, LDL and HDL were carried out by an enzymatic colorimetric method using the glycerol phospate oxidase p-aminophenazone (GPO-PAP) reagent for triglycerides, cholesterol oxidase p-aminoantipyrine (CHOD-PAP) reagents for total cholesterol, precipitation methods for HDL, indirect for LDL. Based on the results of the research that has been done show that the %PKKT in groups 1, 2 and 3 amounted to 22.2%, 43.3% and 52.8%. Group 3 with dose of 200 mg/kgBB had the best antihyperlipidemia activity among the 3 treatment groups with a decrease in total cholesterol levels of 52.8%. The analysis results obtained showed a decrease in lipid levels and there was a significant difference compared to the negative group (p
