DIVERSITAS HASIL TANGKAPAN JARING GILLNET DI PERAIRAN SUNGAI BATANG KECAMATAN AIR SUGIHAN SUMATERA SELATAN
Batang River is a productive area in producing capture fisheries commodities, with mangrove ecosystems that are still natural without degraded by ponds. This study was conducted with the aim of analyzing the diversity of capture fisheries resources and the relationship between environmental parameters and the diversity of capture fisheries resources. The research was conducted in May-June 2022. Data obtained in this study were determined from the fishing ground of local fishermen. The composition of fish and non-fish catches in this study found 40 families and 44 species. With the highest abundance of fish is Johnius belangerii (699 ind/ha) and non-fish species is Portunus pelagicus (8473 ind/ha). Based on the IUCN category, in fish catches, LC (Least Concern) status is most commonly found. As for non -fish catches, the status of NE (not evaluated) is the most commonly found. In fish resources, the average value of diversity index is moderate (H'=1,70), the value of eveness index is moderate (E=0,47), the value of dominance index is low (C=0,28). Indicated the community is unstable. In non-fish resources the average value of diversity index is low (H'=0,35), eveness value is low (E=0,16) and dominance index value is high (C=0,78). Indicated the community is In fish resources, the parameters that most influence the value of diversity and eveness index are salinity and pH, and the most influence of the value of dominance index is DO. In non-fish resources, the parameters that most influence the value of diversity and eveness index are temperature, salinity and pH, and the dominance index value is most influenced by DO.
