PENGARUH E-MONEY, GDP DAN INFLASI TERHADAP PERMINTAAN UANG KARTAL.
This study analyzes the effect of E-Money, GDP and inflation on demand for currency in Indonesia. Since 2014, Bank Indonesia as the Central Bank has announced that it has implemented the national non-cash movement (GNNT) which aims to minimize the use of money that is unfit for circulation and make the payment system in Indonesia adaptable to digital technology. Although GNNT has been applied for a long time, kartal money as a means of payment in cash is still popular in the community today. The type of data used in this study was secondary data and processed with time series data for the research period 2009-2021. The analysis technique used is Error Correction Model (ECM) in the short and long term. The results showed that in the short and long term there is a positive and significant relationship between E-Money and demand for currency, GDP and demand for currency have a negative and insignificant relationship in the short term while in the long term have a positive and significant relationship then between inflation and demand for currency in the short term have a positive and significant relationship but in the long term there is a positive and insignificant relationship.
