Sukajadi Health Center is the only inpatient health center in the Talang Kelapa District area. In its activities, the Sukajadi Health Center produces solid medical waste that is dangerous and toxic. The purpose of this study was to analyze the management of solid medical waste at the Sukajadi Community Health Center in the Talang Kelapa District in 2022. This study used a qualitative method, with in-depth interviews, observation, documentation and analysis by comparing the results of the study using the PerMenLHK guide No. P56 MENLHKSETJEN/2015. Test validity through triangulation of sources, methods and data. There were 4 informants, namely 1 Head of the Sukajadi Health Center, 2 Sanitarian Officers, and 1 Office Girl. The results show that there are no red and purple bags for storing medical waste, there are no symbols/labels on yellow plastic, there are no special trolleys and cold storage to store waste if it is in the temporary storage area for more than 2x24 hours, the temporary storage area at the Sukajadi Health Center still under development, there is no special route for transporting medical waste, Personal Protective Equipment in medical waste management is incomplete, waste is stored in Temporary Storage and transported for 3 months, facilities and infrastructure are incomplete in medical waste management due to limited funds, resources Human resources in managing medical waste are sufficient. It can be concluded that the management of solid medical waste at the Sukajadi Health Center is not in accordance with PerMenLHK No. P56 MENLHKSETJEN/2015. The advice given from this study is for the Sukajadi Health Center to maximize and improve the implementation of solid medical waste management so that it complies with applicable regulations.
