OPTIMASI KONSENTRASI TWEEN 80 DAN PEG-400 DALAM SEDIAAN NANOEMULSI DAUN SAMBILOTO (Andrographis paniculata (Burm.f.) Wall. Ex Ness) SEBAGAI AGEN FOTOPROTEKTIF
Sambiloto leaves (Andrographis paniculata (Burm. f.) Wall. Ex Ness) has the potential as a photoprotective agent with a high content of quercetin and andrographolide. The preparation of Sambiloto leaves nanoemulsion was carried out to increase its photoprotective activity and stability. This study aims to determine the optimum concentration of Tween 80 and PEG-400 in the Sambiloto leaves nanoemulsion preparation, as well as to determine their photoprotective activity and stability. Optimization using factorial design 22 method through Design Expert 12® response to pH, density, viscosity and percent transmittance. The optimum formula obtained was subjected to particle characterization, SPF and antioxidant activity tests, cycling test and centrifugation test. The optimum Sambiloto leaves nanoemulsion was at a concentration of Tween 80 15% and PEG-400 25%. The result of optimum formula particle size is 172.433 ± 24.312 nm, PDI is 0.245 ± 0.060 and zeta potential is -18.100 ± 0,755 mV. The optimum formula for Sambiloto leaves nanoemulsion has an SPF value of 44.427 ± 0.081 and IC50 124.863 ± 4.045 ppm. The results of the cycling test showed no significant difference (p
