As time travel increases in population size, water shortages in the area, and increased settlements on rivers, one of the environmental problems associated with human activity is the buildup of garbage. The family of 13 ulu is also one of the shantytowns of Palembang. The purpose of this study is to analyze environmental health for waste management in Kelurahan 13 Ulu Palembang.The study is using an analytic descriptive approach with a design a cross sectional study with a simple random sampling technique. The population in this study is housewife living in Kelurahan 13 Ulu with 90 respondents. Data analysis conducted are univariates, bivariates, and risk management assessments using EHRA's questionnaire instrumens verifiable. Research shows that there is no significant link between housewife's knowledge (p= 0.649), housewife's behavior (p= 0.405), garbage possession (p= 0.217) with waste management, but sanitation facilities and sanitation behaviors on waste are still at risk for health and the environment. The conclusion of this study is that mom's facility, behavior, and sanitation knowledge of garbage are still at risk for health. She is still unconscious and unconcerned about waste sanitation and its election. Keywords: Waste management, environmental health, behaviour
