Styrofoam made from polystyrene which is difficult to decompose naturally and difficult to recycle can influence the concern of angkringan traders to use it as food packaging because it is affordable and practical. Styrofoam can cause health problems and waste that is disposed of carelessly can damage the environment. The study aimed to determine the relationship between environmental awareness and the use of styrofoam by traders at Taman Kambang Iwak, Palembang City. Quantitative research with a cross-sectional study design with a total of 38 samples. Univariate and bivariate analysis using the Chi-Square test. The results show that 23 traders use styrofoam.
