BTCLS training has been carried out at RSUD Siti Fatimah in 2022 with training evaluations carried out at the end of the training including post-tests and participant satisfaction surveys, but an evaluation of the implementation of the BTCLS training as a whole has not been carried out. Therefore, researchers are interested in conducting a thorough evaluation of the implementation of the BTCLS training. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of Basic Trauma Cardiac Life Support (BTCLS) training at Siti Fatimah Hospital, South Sumatra Province. The model used in this study is the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) model from Stufflebeam. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research design through data collection techniques in the form of interviews and document review. There were 11 informants consisting of the training organizing committee, training participants, and BTCLS training instructors at RSUD Siti Fatimah, South Sumatra Province. Evaluation of the context, the background of the training is not clear whether it is because of the need for medical personnel in the emergency room or because of the need for hospital accreditation. Evaluation of the input, there were only 25 participants in the training while there were quite a number of nurses who did not have BTCLS certificates and expired certificates. Process evaluation, training participants experienced problems such as too much material and there were instructor explanations that were difficult to understand. Evaluation of the product, the impact of the training is that the RSUD has received A accreditation but no evaluation has been carried out for nurses after the BTCLS training. Things that can be done to overcome these deficiencies are to include nurses for BTCLS training outside or increase the number of training participants, for example, make 2 classes, evaluate the performance of nurses after training every once a year, carry out refreshing classes every two months for nurses who have never attended BTCLS training.
