PENCITRAAN TOMOGRAFI KECEPATAN GELOMBANG SEISMIK UNTUK MENGIDENTIFIKASI ANOMALI BAWAH PERMUKAAN DI WILAYAH PROVINSI LAMPUNG
Lampung Province is one of the regions in Indonesia with high seismic activity caused by the subduction zone between the Eurasian Plate and the Indo-Australian Plate as well as an active tectonic fault, namely the Sumatra Fault or Semangko Fault. Seismic tomography is expected to describe the tectonic situation. In this study, the SimulPS12 tomography program was used. Earthquake data from the BMKG (January 2010 - December 2021) totaled 3772 earthquake events with 29.841 phases of P wave arrival time data and 19.136 phases of S wave from 33 seismic stations. The results of this study indicate that seismic activity is caused by a weak zone of active faults associated with volcanic activity. Anomalies of negative velocity change with a high Vp/Vs ratio under an active volcano are interpreted as partial melting, while those with a low Vp/Vs ratio are interpreted as the presence of a steam-dominated geothermal system.
