The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in activity restrictions that require students to spend most of their time at home, the restrictions can causes changes in students’ dietary behaviour and physical activity. Dietary behavior and physical activity are factors that affect immunity, and in the long term can affect individual health. Throughout COVID-19 pandemic, Social media is one of the most widely used platform for sharing information. Therefore, this study aimed to describe social media usage, dietary behavior, and physical activity throughout COVID-19 pandemic among student of SMA N 1 Pangkalan Kerinci. This study was a quantitative descriptive research design that using purposive random sampling method with 105 samples. The analysis showed that 54,3% of student is having a high intensity usage on social media. Whereas the analysis of student’s dietary behavior based on calories intake showed that more than half of the respondent is eating more or less than the recommended dietary allowance. Meanwhile the result of dietary behavior based on food’s type showed that only3,8% of student were categorized as good/adequate, while the rest of student were categorize as inadequate, moderate, and bad. The analysis of dietary behavior based on meals frequency showed 53,3% of student are categorized as enough, and the 30,5% categorized as inadequate. More than half (50,5%) of respondent had moderate levels on physical activity and 35,2% were categorized as high. Based on the result of this study, students are advised to limit their non-productive social media usage and try to consume various type of food from every food group, especially increasing consumption of vegetables, plant based protein, and fruits.
