PENGENDALIAN KECEPATAN MOTOR DC BERBASIS FUZZY LOGIC CONTROL
Along with the times, DC motors are widely used in all fields that aim to provide convenience in everyday life. Controlling the speed of a DC motor requires a control system that is precise, easy to control and presents data in real time so that the results are as desired. In this study, controlling the speed of a DC motor uses fuzzy logic control. Fuzzy logic control does not require complicated systematic equations of the system being controlled. FLC has three important components, namely fuzzification, rule sets, and defuzzification. In this research, fuzzy logic control experiments were carried out with 3, 5, and 7 membership functions using PID control. In this study, there are characteristics of DC motors which used to obtain equation of DC motor transfer function using MATLAB/Simulink. First, fuzzification is consists of 2 input variables and 1 output variable. Then do the rule set on 3, 5, and 7 membership functions. Defuzzification uses Centroid method. The experimental results in this study indicate that DC motor speed control based on fuzzy logic control can be used properly. This can seen from the parameter values of rise time, settling time, overshoot, and steady state error with values of 185 s, 334 s, 0.08 and 2.5 respectively. The research also shows that the comparison of DC motor speed control based on fuzzy logic control for 7 membership functions is better than the PID controller. PID controller parameter values have values of 96 s, 233 s, 0.45, and 2.
