EVOLUSI LAHAN REKLAMASI PASCATAMBANG BATUBARA DAN PENGEMBANGANNYA DALAM BIDANG GEOWISATA, STUDI KASUS: PIT LAKE DANAU KANDI, KOTA SAWAHLUNTO
Post-mining activities will generally tend to leave unproductive land. From the negative impacts caused, it is necessary to make efforts to restore the carrying capacity of the land. Based on the regulations in UU No. 4 of 2009, each stage of mining activities must include post-mining activities, one of which is by reclamation. Pit lake Danau Kandi is a post-coal mining land in Talawi District, Sawahlunto City. Based on the 2012 Sawahlunto City Regional Regulation concerning the RT/RW Regional Spatial Plan, rehabilitation and reclamation activities must be carried out on post-mining land with a strategy of developing into a tourist area or geotourism.Morphological conditions show that the post mine pit is filled with water, which is the uniqueness of this reclaimed land. The dynamics of the Batang Ombilin River are factors that affect the morphological condition of this pit lake. This study aims to determine the evolution of post-mining reclaimed land to the formation of the Danau Kandi pit lake through the visualization of landsat, the influence of river changes that occur, and analyze its development in the field of geotourism. The methods used are direct observation, interpretation based on geographic information systems, and quantitative analysis through geological heritage assessment and data capture through the Instagram platform. From the results of the study, it is known that the development of geotourism of reclaimed land is relatively moderate and needs improvement in several parameters. This research is expected to be an evaluation for sustainable geotourism development strategies.
