PT Duta Alam Sumatra is the owner whose mining process is handed over to PT Cahaya Riau Mandiri and PT Anak Tiga Bintang which is a contractor where this company produces coal in an effort to meet the needs of domestic consumers. This company produces coal by applying the open-pit mining method. Every mining activity requires a mine road as an important means within the mining site and its surroundings, including connecting the mining front and stockpile. The ideal mine haul road will optimize productivity results in accordance with the planned productivity targets. PT Cahaya Riau Mandiri's coal target in February was 60,000 tons, while the actual product was 35,071.02 tons. One of the reasons for the failure to achieve productivity in February was due to the mine hauling road which was not ideal, which resulted in a very long dump truck trip from pit 4 to the stockpile. This is due to the less than ideal haul road geometry, such as less than ideal road width, non-ideal bend road width and too high grade and so on. The less ideal mine haul road will affect the productivity of coal mining activities.
