PREPARASI SiO2-Zr SERTA APLIKASINYA PADA PRODUKSI BIOGASOLINE DAN BIOAVTUR MELALUI PROSES HYDROCRACKING CPO
Porous SiO2-Zr catalysts were prepared using as the chelate method and the EDTA template. The aim of the research was to prepare CPO into biogasoline and bioavtur through a hydrocracking process by applying a Zr-SiO2 catalyst using a template and EDTA chelate, as well as carrying out catalytic activity tests using instruments such as XRD, FTIR, and acidity tests. The results of the GCMS characterization of the catalyst showed that the conversion of CPO to Zr-SiO2 KEDTA showed the highest performance in CPO hydrocracking cracking. Where the highest conversion has a value of 82.73% and a liquid yield of 66.29%. The highest catalyst selectivity for the conversion of bioavtur was 41.77% and biogasoline was 26.80%. Acidity analysis was carried out using the gravimetric method, where the analysis results showed that the Zr-SiO2 KEDTA catalyst showed the highest increase in acidity with total ammonia acidity of 1.0237 mmol/g and pyridine acidity of 0.7058 mmol/g. The results of the XRD analysis show that at an angle of 23̊ (ICDD No 39-1425) Zr-SiO2 acts as an amorphous silica with a broad peak. Then angle 2θ in area 30.11; 34.76; 50.30; and 60.10, which corresponds to a single tetragonal zirconia phase (ICDD 80-2155). The best catalyst that produces a crystalline structure is the Zr-SiO2 TEDTA catalyst. The results of the FTIR characterization showed Lewis acid at wave number 1446.10 and Bronsted acid at 1633.69- 1634.04 cm-1 contained in the Zr-SiO2 KEDTA catalyst
