PERAN ROMANTIC BELIEFS TERHADAP MARITAL READINESS PADA DEWASA AWAL YANG BERPACARAN
This study aims to determine the role of romantic beliefs toward marital readiness in early adulthood on dating relationship. The hypothesis in this study is that there is a role for romantic beliefs toward marital readiness on dating early adulthood. Respondents in this study is 157 early adulthood with ages 25 – 40 years and minimal have dating for 3 years. The sampling technique used is incidental sampling The measuring instrument used is marital readiness scal which refers to the aspect of Blood (1962) and the romantic beliefs scale which refers to the dimensions of Sprecher and Metts (1989). Data analysis in this study used simple regression technique. The results of the regression analysis showed that the R squere value between romantic beliefs and marital readiness was 0,440, the Fvalue was 121,673 and the significance value was 0,000 (p < 0,005). This shows that romantic beliefs has a significant role in marital readiness. Thus, the hypothesis proposed in this study can be accepted
