PENGARUH RASIO AIR PADA CAMPURAN TERHADAP SIFAT FISIK DAN MEKANIK AGREGAT BUATAN BERBAHAN FLY ASH DENGAN BAHAN BENTONITE DAN KAPUR SEBAGAI PENGIKAT MENGGUNAKAN METODE PERAWATAN AUTOCLAVED
This study aims to determine the effect of the water ratio on the physical and mechanical properties of artificial aggregates made from fly ash with bentonite and lime as binders using the autoclaved treatment method. This research was conducted using an experimental method conducted at the Sriwijaya University Laboratory. The variables in this study were variations in mix composition, lime variations, and water ratio variations. The data in this study are the results of testing the physical and mechanical properties of the aggregate, namely the value of density, porosity and compressive strength, as well as impact strength. The results in this study indicate that the percentage of water ratio affects the physical properties of the aggregate, namely the lower the percentage of water ratio used, the better the physical quality produced. However, the water ratio has no significant effect on the mechanical properties of artificial aggregates. The mechanical properties of artificial aggregates are more influenced by variations in the composition of the mixture. The lowest density value obtained was 915 kg/m3, the lowest porosity value was 25%, the highest compressive strength value achieved was 11 MPa, and the lowest impact value obtained was 28%.
