PENGARUH MEDIA AUDIO VISUAL TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PESERTA DIDIK DALAM MENENTUKAN UNSUR-UNSUR INTRINSIK PADA DONGENG KELAS IV DI SD NEGERI 190 PALEMBANG
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using audio-visual media on students' ability to determine the intrinsic elements of fairy tales for class IV at SD Negeri 190 Palembang. This research was a quasi-experimental study with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design design. The population in this study were all fourth grade students at SD Negeri 190 Palembang. The sample in this study were 24 students who were taken using a systematic sampling technique. The instrument used in this study was a multiple choice test. The data analysis technique used was the Paired Sample t-test, which had previously been tested for normality and homogeneity. The results showed that in the experimental group the pretest average value was 58.58, and the posttest average value was 89.25. Meanwhile, in the control group, the pretest average value was 55.25 and the posttest average value was 77,83 . The results obtained from the calculation of the Paired Sample t-test with a significant level of α = 0.05, obtained sig. 0.015 t table or 2,884 > 2,201. Based on the results of the Paired Sample t-test, it can be concluded that the use of audio-visual media as a medium for the ability to determine the intrinsic elements of fairy tales has a significant influence because it can improve the learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SD Negeri 190 Palembang.
